Spain: the perfect bunkering destination
Spain has a wide network of modern ports, making it an excellent choice for shipping companies. The country has more than 30 major ports, such as Algeciras, Barcelona, Valencia, Ceuta, Las Palmas and Cartagena, all of which serve tens of thousands of ships every year. The port of Algeciras, for example, is the third most important bunkering hub in Europe, providing up to 3 million tons of bunker fuel annually. The Port of Ceuta and the waters of the Strait of Gibraltar play an important role in international shipping, handling over 700 bunkering operations per month.

Our advantages: why choose us?

  1. Competitive prices:
We are proud of our competitive prices for bunker fuel. Thanks to long-term contracts with reliable suppliers, we can offer customers fuel 5-10% cheaper than competitors. For example, in 2023, our customers saved over 1.8 million euros thanks to our prices and flexible payment terms.
  2. Wide geographical presence:
We provide bunkering in the main ports of Spain, such as Barcelona, Valencia, Algeciras, Malaga, Las Palmas, Ceuta and Cartagena. We offer bunkering both at the berth and at anchor to reduce waiting times and increase efficiency. In Las Palmas, for example, over 1.5 million tons of fuel are provided annually. The waters of the Strait of Gibraltar allow us to serve over 1,000 vessels per year, offering them convenience and flexibility.
  3. 24/7 service:
We work 24/7 to be available to our customers at all times. Last year we served over 5,000 vessels and we continue to grow to meet the growing demand. In busy areas such as Algeciras and Gibraltar, bunkering wait times are typically under 3 hours – 25% faster than the regional average.
  4. High environmental standards:

We take environmental protection seriously. Our fuels comply with IMO 2020 requirements, with a sulphur content of no more than 0.5%. More than 70% of our fuel is low sulphur marina gasoil, which helps reduce emissions. We also offer alternative fuels such as liquefied natural gas (LNG) and biofuels. In 2023, we sold over 20,000 tonnes of biofuel, which reduced carbon emissions by 60,000 tonnes.

  1. Efficiency and flexibility:

Our team has extensive experience in bunkering operations. On average, it takes us 4 to 6 hours to bunker, depending on volumes and port conditions. This is 15% faster than most of our competitors. In the Strait of Gibraltar, bunkering time at anchor is only 3-4 hours, which allows ships with a tight schedule not to lose precious time.

  1. Loyalty program and volume discounts:

We have developed loyalty programs for our regular customers. When ordering more than 1,000 tonnes of fuel per month, customers receive a discount of up to 5%, and for volumes over 5,000 tonnes - up to 10%. In 2023, our regular customers saved more than 2 million euros thanks to our loyalty programs. More than 30 major shipping companies regularly use our services in ports such as Algeciras and Barcelona, which speaks volumes about our high level of service.
