The South China Sea is a vital transport corridor through which up to one-third of the world’s total seaborne trade passes. More than $21 trillion in goods are transported through the region each year, and its importance is only growing. Key Chinese ports such as Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Ningbo provide access to vast bunkering capacity and service thousands of vessels each month.
The Port of Shanghai, the world's largest container port, handles over 40 million TEU and over 4 million tons of bunker fuel annually. The Port of Shenzhen, the second largest in China, handles over 3 million tons of bunker fuel each year, thanks to its modern facilities and high-quality service.
Our advantages: reliability and cost-effectiveness
24/7 service and flexible payment terms:
We work 24/7 to be available to our customers at any time. In addition, we offer flexible payment terms
Competitive prices and supply stability:
We provide bunkering at favorable prices thanks to long-term contracts with major fuel suppliers and our own oil storage facilities. Thanks to this, we can maintain price stability even in the face of global fluctuations in the oil market. In the ports of the South China Sea, such as Guangzhou and Ningbo, our prices are 5-8% lower than our competitors, which allows our customers to save significant money. In 2023, our customers saved over $3 million thanks to our price offers.
Wide geographical presence:
We provide bunkering services in key ports of China such as Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Ningbo, Qingdao and Hong Kong, as well as offshore in the South China Sea. Such geographical flexibility allows our customers to choose the most convenient places for refueling, minimizing downtime. We serve up to 5,000 vessels per year in each of the largest ports, providing bunkering opportunities both at the berth and offshore.
Modern and environmentally friendly types of fuel:
We offer a variety of bunker fuels, including marine gas oil (MGO), heavy fuel oil (HFO), as well as alternatives - liquefied natural gas (LNG) and biofuels. More than 60% of the fuel we supply is low-sulphur marine gasoil, which fully complies with IMO 2020 requirements. We are also actively developing our biofuel and LNG offerings to meet customer demands for reduced emissions and improved environmental friendliness. In 2023, we sold more than 15,000 tonnes of LNG, which saved 45,000 tonnes of carbon emissions.
Efficiency and high throughput:
Our modern tankers and trained crew ensure the fastest possible bunkering operations. On average, bunkering takes 4 to 5 hours, which is 20% faster than other suppliers in the region. Thanks to our modern facilities and constant coordination with port authorities, we minimize waiting times and downtime. In Hong Kong and Shanghai, bunkering time is only 3-4 hours, allowing vessels to return to work faster.
